Tomedes recently undertook a Danish to English real estate translation on behalf of a new client. The translation was of a rental contract for an individual who was moving to Denmark from the UK for work. Her Danish was not yet very good and she had been reluctant to sign a rental agreement for an apartment without understanding its contents, so she wanted to read the contract in English.
The client asked Tomedes for help and we were happy to assist. We quoted her an excellent price for the work and began translating the same day. One of our top translators based in Chiswick undertook the work. With one Danish parent and one English parent, as well as a part time job in an estate agency, we knew she was the perfect translator to successfully complete the job.
Three days later, after the translation had been undertaken and the Tomedes proofreading team had carried out their usual round of quality assurance checks, we handed over the English version to the client, along with a certificate of translation to verify the accuracy of the work. She was delighted to be able to see what she was signing up to – our translation meant that she was able to accept the tenancy agreement and move into her new apartment in her new country.
